How do I enter my students?

Step 1: Register
For the Jungle Animal Craft Competition your school must be located in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Register your teacher and school details through the registration page.
You will be sent a confirmation email with a link back to the Tarzan’s Grip site to complete the process.
Your login and password details will allow you to enter student projects via the craft project upload page, while the submission phase is open.
When the submission phase closes, you will no longer be able to enter student projects, but you can still register so your details are recorded for the next competition.

Step 2: Get the creativity flowing in the classroom
Get the kids feeling creative – This competition is about making Jungle Animal inspired craft projects. Find starting points and inspiration from our Jungle Animal Craft Idea project PDFs.
The craft project can be made by one or more students, so you could easily run a class activity for the students to form small groups and be creative.
For the current Jungle Animal Craft competition, each project must:
- Use Tarzan’s Grip Glue Stick
- Use paper, fabric or cardboard. Other materials / embellishments can also be used.
- Feature a jungle animal (whether it forms part of the craft project or its entirety)
See the competition page for more detail.

Step 3: Take some notes, snap some shots
The entry form will require some information about each project, so ensure that you have from each group of students:
- Students names involved (first names only needed)
- Class name – Entries represent the school class, so more than one entry per class is encouraged
- What the students think is unique about their craft project – You’ll need to type this in, so make some notes
- A photo of each project – Voting is based on the project photo, so make sure you take great shots to do each project justice

Step 4: Enter the projects – The submission phase
During the submission phase you will be able to enter multiple projects into the competition on behalf of your students and their class.
Visit the competition entry page and login using the details you registered with.
This will then allow you to enter the information about each student group project entry, as well as upload a photo for each project.
- Please be aware the site can only take 2MB for each photo, so you may need to resize if too large.
- Be careful entering too many projects at once, as submitting them could take quite a while. We recommend 3-4 student projects at a time.

Step 5: Voting phase
Once the submission phase has closed, the voting phase starts.
Once voting opens, anyone – parents, friends, older brothers and sisters – can then visit the site and vote for which projects they like best.
All the competition entries can be viewed by visiting the gallery. Voting is conducted by presenting two projects at a time, you then select the preferred project to cast a vote. Immediately two more projects are presented for voting. To stop voting, leave the page.
Voters can ask friends to vote on their project by using the “Get friends to vote” buttons on the voting page. This uses the voter’s email client to create an email with a link to the same two projects.
Final step: The winner:
The project with the most votes wins the customised VIP visit to Sydney Wildlife World for their entire class.
The teacher who submitted the winning project will be notified by phone. Please see the Terms & Conditions for more detail.
