Win a special VIP visit for your class to get up close with the all Aussie animals of Sydney Wildlife World.
In an action packed day, kids will get to see all Aussie animals from different environments. Come face to face with one of the world’s largest Saltwater crocodiles ‘Rex’ at the amazing new Kakadu Gorge display. Marvel at one of Australia's most renowned creatures in the Koala. Discover red kangaroos in our Semi-Arid habitat and Yellow-footed rock wallabies, as well as hairy-nosed wombats, in our Wallaby Cliffs habitat. Explore the Rainforest, home to the world's most dangerous bird, the southern cassowary. Take a trip into the dark, nocturnal world of bilbies, quolls and sugar-gliders. Wonder at the reptile world, including Australia's largest snake, the scrub python. Learn about the creepy crawly and dangerous in the invertebrate displays and become immersed in the colourful, beautiful world of butterflies.
Plus there's a series of special VIP activities created especially for the winning class of the Tarzan's Grip Jungle Animal Craft Competition. Students, with the help of a keeper, will get to:
- Participate in a koala weighing
- Have a photo taken with a koala
- Feed the kangaroos
- Feed the butterflies
- Experience butterflies being released around them
- Hold a snake and other amazing reptiles
- Pat a baby salt water crocodile
The prize includes transport and entry to Sydney Wildlife World.
How do I enter?
CREATE- Students work on craft projects in class – as long as it involves an animal, we want to see it!
- Projects can be done individually or in small groups
- Check out our Step by Step Guide for more information
- Teachers upload a photo of each project, along with some information about it, via the project entry page.
- Once voting opens, anyone - parents, friends, older brothers and sisters - can then visit the site and vote for the projects they like best.
How it works
Make a craft project:
- Make a jungle animal inspired craft project using Tarzan's Grip Glue Stick.
- The project must use paper, fabric or cardboard plus any other materials that help to make the project come alive.
- The project can be made by one or more students.

Submission phase:
- Entries are submitted by teachers uploading a picture of the finished project onto tarzansgrip.com. Follow the step by step submission guide here.
- Students will need to tell us something about their project which they think is important that sets it apart from other.
- Teachers enter this information while they upload the project photo.
Voting phase:
- Anybody can view all the competition entries by visiting the gallery.
- Anybody can vote for their favourite project.
- Voting is open to anybody and is unlimited.
The winner:
- The project which receives the most number of vote wins.
What to make
Entries must:
- Use Tarzan's Grip Glue Stick.
- Use paper, fabric or cardboard. Other materials / embellishments can also be used.
- Feature a jungle animal (whether it forms part of the craft project or its entirety).
To be eligible
Students:
- Must be enrolled in a school located in the Sydney metropolitan area.
- Entries represent the school class in which they are enrolled in.
- More than one entry per class is permitted (it is actually encouraged).
Teachers:
- Teachers must register their details.
- Entry submissions must by supervised/uploaded by a teacher.
- Entries must be submitted by the closing date of the Submissions Phase.
